The music in your hand: a 7” touch screen, a big knob and four keys, on battery, with a charging dock.

Status: work in progress

The Remote is one of the first devices we build, and work on it is under way. There is no finished prototype yet; the drawing shows the idea, and designs can still change.

Made for

Bar counters, café tables, the sofa, the garden and the event desk: wherever staff or guests steer the music without a phone.

Highlights

• Now playing at a glance: cover, title and source, the queue and what comes next.
• Find and play: search the library, pick playlists and albums, add to the queue.
• Cue lists for events: a big GO key, scenes and jingles.
• Rooms and level: choose a room or group and set its level in dB.
• Built for daily use: a day of use on one charge, splash-resistant case, a dock to put it down.
• Keeps playing: if the network drops, the Remote says so and the music keeps playing in the rooms.
